Taxi Call Wimbledon & Kingston - Eco Friendly Transport
All Taxi Call Wimbledon and Taxi Call Kingston taxis are fully in compliance with Transport for London’s vehicle emissions environmental policy.
Since 30th of June 2008, black taxi vehicle licences in London have only been issued to taxis that meet the Euro 3 emission standard or better. This means that all hackney carriage taxis in London are, as a minimum, of Euro 3 emissions standard.
When using our taxi services you will be driven in a vehicle fitted with cutting edge carbon footprint reducing technology. Your driver will also have undertaken a mandatory advanced taxi driving test, as part of her/his Knowledge of London training. One of the criteria of this test is to demonstrate to the examiner that the driver can, over a long period of time, consistently drive in an eco friendly way, with due regard to speed, smooth acceleration and breaking.
