Taxi Call Wimbledon are looking for a limited number of customer focused drivers to join our Wimbledon team.
We can offer you:
- Customer calls via GPS on Nearest Cab basis
- Regular early morning pre booked trips to airports at under-the-meter fixed prices
- Mostly cash work
What type of driver are we looking for?
We need drivers dressed in a smart casual way and on occasions we may offer you pre-booked work which requires that you wear a suit. We expect you to be willingly helpful to customers and provide a positive image of Taxi Call Wimbledon.
Please note that we market the instant hire service in Wimbledon and Raynes Park only and you will need to be working in these areas to receive telephone jobs. Whilst the pre-booked airport service is marketed thoughout South West London and Kingston, these pre-booked jobs are offered only to those drivers seen to be answering our Wimbledon and Raynes Park customers.
Can I be on a Radio Circuit also?

Mobile Phone Requirements
New! Updated 6th January 2011. We have finished testing GPS tracker units. These trackers have been a huge success and there is now no need for drivers to upgrade their phones for TaxiCall Nearest Cab. We have now rolled out these trackers to all drivers.
Is it difficult to get TaxiCall work using mobile phone?
Actually, it's incredibly easy . As soon as the satellite locates you as the nearest driver to the customer, your phone rings. Upon answering , you just press "one" to speak to the customer. It really is that easy.
Subscriptions
Our subscription rates are very competitive compared to other London radio circuits. We don't accept cash so you must be able to pay by Standing Order.
